Tyne Riverside Country Park, Prudhoe
Linear Country Park on the south bank of the River Tyne. Adjacent to Prudhoe Railway Station (Newcastle - Prudhoe - Hexham - Carlisle).and bus stand.
The Spetchells are steep-sided hills, once chalk-based waste from industry, now providing extensive views and a natural chalk habitat unusual in the area. Two courses ascend. Use the stepped path to do so.
