Talkin Tarn Country Park

Talkin Tarn Country Park is near to Brampton, Cumbria.

The permanent orienteering course has 39 controls scattered around the Tarn and its adjacent park and woodlands. There are 3 suggested courses, all of which take you on an exploratory journey around the Tarn, as well as the option to tackle as many or as few of the controls as desired.

Easy - approximately 2.1km. This course is potentially wheelchair & pram friendly as the course circumnavigates the Talkin Tarn on well graded paths.

Medium - approx 2.7km

Long - approx 3.5km

Talkin Tarn Country Park has toilets and a tea room. Parking charges apply between 10 am and 6 pm.
