St Nicholas Park, Warwick

The Terrain is mainly open grassland with lots of paved paths of this town park. The River Avon divides the area with a footbridge.  The map is an easy 1:5000 scale.

The reverse of the map has 2 suggested courses Short: 1.9km with 10 Controls and Long: 3.6km with 16 Controls.

The Start and Finish are to the West side of a Wall within 50 meters from St Nicholas Park Tea Shop at the far end of the car park.

Both the Short and Long courses are designed to be suitable for those new to orienteering but also to encourage further exploration of the park.

NB Control No. 11 was lost during refurbishment of the area, and is in the process of being replaced.  If you cannot find it, just ignore it and move on.  Thanks.
