Covering 450 acres, it included grassland, woodland, rivers and a 30-acre lake.
The Permanent Orienteering Course - The POC map has 25 checkpoints to visit.
- visit as many as you like in any order
- or choose to follow one of 3 suggested courses (list of controls in order you should visit are included on the information sheet) ranging from 2.2km to 5.4km.
- you can also complete the POC as a 60 minute Score course using MapRun per below
Wheelchair accessibility with help on the shorter courses as one of the checkpoints is on grass.
Parking free before 10 am and after 10 am it is £2 for 6 hours

Brand new Cafe & Toilet block by the main car park. Extensive playground, skate ramps and outdoor activities such as Segways, High Ropes, climbing and canoeing.
A great place to visit for all the family
The Virtual Orienteering Course using MapRun has 3 linear courses from 2.1km to 4.9km, and you can also complete a Score course based on the POC checkpoints getting as many of the identified checkpoints within a 60min time period.
