Lincoln Arboretum (Short)

This course focuses on Lincoln Arboretum and visits neighbouring streets in the mixed housing of Stamp End and Monks Road. It includes crossings of Monks Road and there are two mandatory crossing point at controlled pedestrian crossings. Other minor roads within the 30 mph area may be crossed, which should be executed with care.

Around half of the course will involve walking or running in the Arboretum and other park areas where you can chose to take paths or opt for a more direct route over grass. Elsewhere footpaths and pavements in residential areas and on streets.

The course is planned at 2.1 km and the optimum running distance is likely to be closer to 3.0 km. There is also around 40 metres of climb.
