Lincoln Arboretum (Long)

This course starts in Lincoln Arboretum and visits areas of Lincoln's historical centre as well as the mixed housing of Stamp End and Monks Road. It includes a crossings of the busy Lindum Hill (a recommended controlled crossing point is indicated on the map) as well as crossings of other roads within the 30 mph area, which should be executed with care.

The majority of the course and route options will be along footpaths and pavements with small stretches of running in the Arboretum and other park area where you can chose to run on paths or take a more direct route over grass.

The course is planned at 4.5 km and the optimum running distance is likely to be closer to 6.3km. There is also around 120 metres of climb.
