Knoll Beach, Studland (NT)
This is a lovely beach area with grass-covered dunes and sandy pathways leading out from the large National Trust car park at Knoll Beach, Studland.
The map has three courses on it with instructions on the reverse:
Easy 0.9km - Easy beginners course (White)
Medium 1.8km - A little more tricky (Yellow).
Long 2.4km - About the same as the Medium course but longer (Orange). Only available April - October due to seasonal conditions.
Try the Short course to get your eye in, then try a longer one.

Long, clean, safe swimming, sandy beach. A bit narrow at high tide but extensive dunes behind.
National Trust café, shop and toilets.

Good walking over Godlingstone Heath (To west) with the Agglestone rock.
A good walk (south) through Studland village and up onto Ballard Down & Old Harry Rocks.
Directions: Knoll Beach lies between Studland village and the chain ferry, just to the north of Knoll House Hotel. Knoll Beach is a well-signed turning to the east. This not Middle Beach, which is accessed from the village.
Note this is a paying car park. Free to NT members. Manned approx May - September. Pay&Display at other times.
