Safety and Risk -Specific Advice

  • Participants take part at their own risk and are responsible for their own safety whilst using the course.
  • Killerton’s 10sq mile estate is home to 18 farms and many protected habitats. Please keep dogs on a short lead and under close control around livestock and follow the countryside code. For more information about Killerton visit: https://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/killerton.
  • Be aware of the presence of ticks and the potential for Lyme Disease. Check for ticks after your run.
  • Ecoli presents a risk to participants, for example from sheep poo.  Participants, especially children, should wash their hands after taking part and before eating, to limit the risk.
