Inch Park
Inch Park is SE of the centre of Edinburgh. Managed by the City of Edinburgh Council, it has a children’s play area, extensive grassed areas with woodland borders and small copses, and is mostly fairly flat. The Braid Burn runs across the northern part – “inch” is the old word for low-lying land near a river. In the middle of the park is Inch House, now a community centre, which dates from the 17th Century.
