Cunswick Scar - LOC Maprun Challenge Novice Courses

The Lakeland Orienteering Club Maprun Challenge is a series of novice anytime-orienteering courses to complete and capture using the Maprun app on your smartphone. 

All the Maprun Challenge courses are suitable for beginners to navigate by following line features such as paths, walls and fences.

Cunswick Scar is an area of open fell with lovely views to Kendal and the surrounding areas. 

Please take extra care around livestock and avoid the steep crag section in the North (long course only). 

Cunswick Scar Short course is 2.3km in length with 15 controls to find.

Cunswick Scar Long course is 4.2km in length with 25 controls to find.
