Coronation Park

Coronation Park was originally opened in the 1930 but was renamed Coronation Park in 1953 to commemorate the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II. The park covers just over 2 and a half hectares and is owned and maintained by Rotherham Borough Council. The course is funded by Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council and maps are available free of charge.

There are 3 orienteering courses to choose from: very easy (0.5km), easy (1.1km) and medium (1.4km) plus the "Find them all challenge" (how quickly can you find all the controls). Answer sheets available.

Coronation Park has a children’s play area, fitness apparatus and MUGA (multi use games area). There are also tennis courts and a bowling green open to the public.
