Clumber Park (NT)

Clumber Park is a beautiful expanse of parkland, heath and woods covering more than 3,800 acres owned by the National Trust.

Clumber was once the country estate of the Dukes of Newcastle.

The Clumber Park Family Course takes you through the Pleasure Grounds of Clumber Park passing historic landmarks such as the Gothic-style chapel and magnificent lake. Map and course currently being updated after changes on the ground (October 2023 - marker 7 missing, fence between 9 & 10 removed).

The Clumber Park Medium MapRun course is about 2.5 km long. This is available as a MapRun smartphone, see details below.

The permanent orienteering courses at Clumber were being revised in early 2020 before virus lock-down. The new markers on the ground for the Medium course are in place, however, at June 2022 no. 19 is an old post (10) and the barrier with marker at no. 21 has been removed.  The marker at no. 17 is also missing. You may wish to use the virtual course below that has all the expected control sites. Map updated April 2022
