Blaise Castle
At Blaise Castle Estate, each control marker is a concrete post with a control number and letter on it. The Control Card on the reverse of the map shows the 18 control numbers and their descriptions. Three courses are suggested on the back of the map; Beginners (Yellow), Medium (Light Green) and Long (Blue).
The courses are set up to be used with the smartphone app UsynligO (See below for details), or control letters can be written on the back of the map.

Cafe beside the car park. Open 7 days a week. 8.30am - 5pm, April - end October; 8.30am - 3pm, end October to end March. Closed Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day. Up and Running, 38 North View, Bristol, BS6 7QA, open 7 days a week.
Bristol City Council website gives full details of other things at Blaise Castle. These include a cafe, toilets and children’s play area. There is a museum and you can climb to the top of the castle. Both these have limited opening times.
