Ord Hill
Ord Hill is a wooded pine forest. The permanent orienteering course at Ord Hill is designed to provide both an introduction to the sport and an opportunity to develop navigational skills in a recreational, non-competitive setting. Each control is marked on the map by a red circle and on the ground by a wooden post. The post will be at the feature shown in the centre of the circle. Descriptions of each control feature are given in the details. Suggestions for courses are made in the details but you may wish to make up your own course using the controls.
The course is an iOrienteering course with QR codes at each control. Information on this is given with the map download.
QR codes refreshed and map updated - Sept 22
The main forest track is wheelchair accessible, with some controls visible from this. However, most controls are not wheelchair accessible.
